Packers CB Tramon Williams spoke to the media prior to the Week 2 home opener against the Minnesota Vikings.
“I think it serves us well,” said Williams of the secondary depth. “Because of depth purposes but also just different looks – lining up different people at different positions. Quarterbacks not knowing exactly what position we’re playing. … You can cause offenses problems (since) they don’t know we’re doing.”
He not only made a terrific play to push Allen Robinson out of bounds, but Williams also did a great job of not panicking and making contact too early. He’s as savvy as they come.
He is truly one of the greatest football players to ever come from the Bayou Region. He has been underrated for a long time, and he deserves more praise for his accomplishments on the field and in mentoring young people.
