The tour will celebrate the upcoming 10-year anniversary of Super Bowl XLV by featuring Packers President/CEO Mark Murphy and Super Bowl XLV champions Tramon Williams, Nick Collins, John Kuhn, Brandon Jackson, James Jones and James Starks
Williams’ uncanny ability to perform in both the slot and at outside corner is remarkable. His vast experience and knowledge of the game allow for his fluid movement from a nickel and dime defender to even playing on the island as an outside corner.
Since re-signing with the Packers in 2018, Williams hasn’t missed a game. In those two seasons, he had 10 pass defenses, two interceptions, and he forced one fumble and recovered three. As a result of Williams’ impressive season, he was sixth in Pro Football Focus’ top 25 cornerbacks rankings for 2019.
“I tell you what I am committed to: I’m committed to spending time with my kids right now,” Williams said with a hearty laugh. “When football season is over for me, I’m into my kids’ life.
In 2019, Williams only allowed a reception in the slot every 14 snaps — 5th-best among CBs w/ a min. 100 snaps in slot coverage
What I find most impressive about Williams is his ability to stay on the field. In his 10 seasons on the Packers, he has missed one game. One! His training and commitment to the game have kept him in great shape which has allowed him to play this long.
